i18n Mehrsprachigkeit * Aufklärung und NEWS!!!

Na das laesst ja hoffen. War denn die Kritik auf der Drupalcon so deutlich?

Wenn mir nun noch Jemand sagt Drupal 6 hat eine neuen Maintainer dann falle ich vom Stuhl.

na da kann man nur hoffen, dass alle Entwickler auch Upgrade-Szenarien für einen Upgrade von Drupal 5 nach 7 bereitstellen. Nicht, dass man nachher erst von Drupal5 nach Drupal 6 upgraden muss, um einen Upgrade nach Drupal 7 durchführen zu können.

Ja das kann man nur hoffen, zumindest wenn man so wie ich:

a) Ein WCMS braucht!
b) Mehrsprachigkeit!
c) Storelösung!
d) + vielleicht noch nen FORUM!

Das dumme daran ist das i18n wohl erst mit D7 so richtig auftrumpfen wird und Ubercart zwar jetzt schon von vielen Entwicklern auf D6 gehoben wird und niemand sagen kann, ob es dann von einer D5 zu D7 eine einfache oder eher schwierige Migration sein wird. Von Update kann man hier ja glaub ich nicht mehr sprechen!

Bedeutet nun wer auf eine (voll) funktionsfähige Sprachunterstützung angewiesen ist der sollte sich wohl oder übel mir D5 anfreunden, ansonsten wohl oder übel auf D7 warten!
