Hi Leute,
leider hat auch eine Erhöhung des memory_limits auf 64 MB durch den Provider meines Sharehosting-Pakets auch nicht zum gewünschten Erfolg geführt - soll heißen:
Fehlermeldungen der Art: Fatal Error: Out of Memory (allocated ...
auf bestimmten Seiten (u.a. admin/build/modules) nach Aktivierung des VIEWS-Moduls! )-:
Diese Seite ist derzeit im Offlinebetrieb, hat gerade 6 Nodes, kein Inhaltsmenü (Primarylinks oder Secondarylinks), 12 Inhaltstypen mit durchschnittlich 8-10 Feldern.
MySQL habe ich schon per PHPMyAdmin repariert, optimiert und analysiert - ohne Erfolg! )-:

Also ich persönlich bevorzuge 128M beim Speicherlimit. Imageapi warnt dich auch wie du lesen kannst. Aber ich glaube nicht, dass es das Problem ist. Ich vermute wie du auch, dass da irgendwas mit den MySQL Anfragen schiefläuft.
Am besten du machst es wie üblich: Deaktivere ein Modul nach dem anderen und schau wo es dann aufhört. Dann aktivierst du wieder die Module bis es wieder anfängt und schon weißt wo der Übeltäter sitzt ;)

Das habe ich schon grob getan und bin der Meinung, es hängt am Views-Modul!
Nur ohne dem ist Drupal nur halb so schön (-;
Aktiviere ich das Modul (Basis+UI), dann werden zwar die MySQL-Tabellen (4 Stück) kreiiert, aber im Adminbereich nichts angezeigt und die Seite ist admin/build/module gibt o.g. Fehlermeldung zurück!
Da ja sonst kaum etwas an Modulen aktiviert ist, nodes fast vollständig fehlen und die Seite noch offline ist, wird es schwierig für mich (Laien), etwas zur Problemlösung beizutragen )-:
Die erstellten Inhaltstypen beherbergen einige Felder (fields), aber daran kann es m.E. nicht liegen ...

Die Erhöhung des memory_limits von 64 MB auf 128 MB brachte auch keinen Erfolg!

Zwei Grundlegende Fragen zur Klärung meines Problems:
a)nach Forensuche stellt sich mir wiederholt die Frage nach einem Unterschied zwischen "out of memory...." und "allowed of memory..."
b)Was bedeuten die Zahlen im Detail?

Ich habe derzeit 128MB seitens des Provider zugewiesen bekommen und zusätzlich in der settings.php die Angabe ini_set memory_limit ('128M') etc. eingetragen --> also warum erzählt mir die Fehlermeldung etwas von 24MB?

Status Quo:
Ich habe verschiedene Browser benutzt, Themes getestet, Module deaktiviert (teilweise auch deinstalliert sofern dev-, alpha- oder im beta-Status) und die deutsche Sprache deaktiviert - die Fehlermeldung auf admin/build/modules bleibt trotzdem erhalten

Kurios ist nur, weshalb verringert sich der erste Wert?
Ich habe doch das CMS "verschlankt"!
Hat jemand einen Rat?
Probleme derart wurden im Forum schon häufiger diskutiert, aber die skizzierten Lösung haben bei mir nicht zum Erfolg geführt!
Würde eine komplette Neuinstallation helfen?
Gibt es memory-Beschränkungen im Drupalcode?

Wenn schon ne Neuinstallation, warum dann nicht gleich bei einem Provider, wo es laut Forum hier auch klappt mit Drupal 6 und seinen Modulen?

na ja ... war nur so ein Tipp :-) Musst schliesslich du wissen, ob Du dir das antun willst? An den Modulen liegts sicherlich nicht, denn die werden ja auch von einigen tausend anderen problemlos genutzt! Und wenn Du bei der Installation oder beim Updaten keine Fehler gebaut hast, dann liegts wohl am Provider ...
Bevor ich wie Du tagelang an ner Installation herumdoktore, da geh ich doch gleich wohin, wo es bei anderen "Drupalisten" auf Anhieb klappt. So ein KK ist normalerweise ratz fatz durch und Zugangsdaten gibts bei nem guten Provider eh sofort ...

Teil I:
die übrigen scheinen folgende werte für drupal nicht unerheblich:
max_execution_time --> 120
max_input_time --> 120
post_max_size --> 32M
upload_max_filesize --> 8M
für das memory_limit sollten 64 MB locker reichen (selbst wenn, die ImageAPI GD das Memory Limit auf 96 MB fordert)!
Teil II:
man sollte darauf achten, dass am Server keine generelle Speicherbeschränkung für PHP vorliegt, welche dann unabhängig von der php.ini-Einstellung greift!
Dies war u.a. bei mir der Fall. Ein Test mit Hilfe einer Datei auf dem zur Verfügung gestellten Speicherplatz (html-Ordner meist) mit folgendem Inhalt sollte Klarheit verschaffen:

Ich möchte mich dem Problem anschließen:
bei mir hängt es bei der Installation, vermutlich von Modulen von CiviCRM oder OG bzw. deren benötigten Module.
Zumindest ist der Fehler hier erstmalig aufgetreten.
Gemäß den Beiträgen hier im Forum und auch hier im post habe ich in der settings.php folgende Einträge ausgelesen bzw. geändert
max_execution_time: 500 (vorhanden)
Max_input_time:500 (vorhanden)
post_max_size:32M (vorhanden)
upload_max_filesize: 20M (von 8 erhöht)
memory_limit = 128M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (32MB)
einer meiner Vorredner erwähnte, dass die Einstellungen auch in der .htaccess & der settings.php eingetragen werden müssen. Ich habe mich dabei an die Anleitung unter http://drupal.org/node/207036 halten wollen. Dort ist zu lesen:

Edit the .htaccess file in the Drupal root directory. Look for the section:
# Override PHP settings. More in sites/default/settings.php
# but the following cannot be changed at runtime.
and immediately after this add the following line:
php_value memory_limit 32M
settings.php

Die Zeilen habe ich hinzugefügt & die Dateien wieder hochgeladen.
Ein Test mit Hilfe einer Datei auf dem zur Verfügung gestellten Speicherplatz (html-Ordner meist) mit folgendem Inhalt sollte Klarheit verschaffen:
Dem Rat bin ich gefolgt und habe eine info.php mit dem o.a. Inhalt erstellt und in mein /html Order geladen.
Als Neuling war ich dankbar für das script, aber was fange ich jetzt damit an. Ändern tut sich in der Datei auf jeden Fall nichts.
Bei einem Refresh der Error-Seite bekoam ich eine weisse Seite.
Alsich daraufhin meine Domain aufrufen wollte, bekam ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

In der Hoffnung mehr als 32M lösen das Problem, habe ich die Zahl in allen drei Dateien auf 40M erhöht:
Erst bekam ich folgende Fehlermeldung:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72159 bytes) in /var/www/ph15s941/html/includes/menu.inc on line 965
bei einem Refresh war alles wie weggeblasne:-(
Zur Kontrolle habe ich nun zwei Module (Message debug & Node import) installieren wollen:

Schade das keine Erziehungsmaßnahmen helfen :-(
Ich verzweifel.. DENN JETZT KOMME ICH GAR NICHT MEHR AUF DIE SEITE: ich will doch nur ein funktionierendes System :-(
Worauf tippt ihr? "ph15s941"ist der Nutzername der DB. ist die denn voll? geht sowas?
