Drupal Frontend Developer - Berlin, Germany

Roomsurfer is an international internet startup with founders from Italy, Japan & Germany. The travel platform basically connects private hosts and guests from all around the world via intelligent matching algorithms.

We are looking for an experienced HTML / CSS / JS - Frontend Developer with crazy attention to detail to work freelance on client projects with a small and nimble development team.

• We are working with Drupal. So you should be experienced in Drupal too.
• We need you to be highly proficient in HTML / CSS.
• You are a pro regarding jQuery (including AJAX and JSON)? Perfect!

At least three years of GUI development is required. As this position requires you to create attractive, interactive and user-friendly HTML screens, your portfolio will be a major part of the hiring process.

What are your responsibilities?

• Create highly attractive, interactive and very user-friendly screens that request data via AJAX and handle the returning JSON
• Have attention to detail and pixel perfection
• Apply Drupal theming techniques

What are the requirements?

• 3 years front end development experience
• Minimum 1 year experience developing Drupal modules and themes
• Some experience in programming
• Proficient in XHTML, HTML and CSS

What skill should you have?

• Strong AJAX/jQuery/JSON skills
• Strong CSS development skills
• Drupal, Drupal, Drupal...
• Well organized, able to express and present own ideas
• Photoshop/Illustrator Experience
• Experience cutting and processing comps and creating studio files to facilitate template development
